Ilka is known for her entrepreneurial spirit, strategic mindset, and business acumen. She focuses on transforming retail business practices into more purposeful, sustainable, and profitable business models. Ilka spent many years as a c-suite strategic advisor for clients that include Talbot's, Chico's, White House Black Market, Soma, The Children's Place, Maurices, Justice, Ann Taylor, Lane Bryant, Eileen Fisher, and J.Crew Group, to name a few. Since 2020, Ilka has served on the advisory board at LIM College.
Ilka is a lifelong learner. She is pursuing her Doctorate in Global Organizational Transformation at Florida International University (FIU). She has earned her Master's in Technology from American InterContinental University (AIU) and her Bachelor's of Science in Apparel Production Management and Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Ilka is also a Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner.
